Each character also has a few cards to unlock which takes some time, though you will easily do this through normal gameplay. Appreciate you taking the time to reply! Is your game similar to this? Similar, yes I love Slay the Spire!
Biographical and Critical Sources
It has similar gameplay where you start out with a simple deck and over the course of the adventure, you build your deck by adding cards. There are points where you can choose if you want to go left or right, to choose treasure vs. I think the game would generally appeal to people that enjoy SotS.
It IS a less complex game than SotS. SotS has more cards, and cards that are more complex.
Land of the Midnight Sun - St. Petersburg to Moscow
In battle, there are more choices in SotS about the sequence in which you play cards, vs. Complexity can be a tricky thing - it's not good or bad, it's just different. Where I think Meteorfall shines is that you can easily play it in a minute lunch break or while you're walking. It was designed to be something you could play one-hand so that you could take a walk and play at the same time.
If you're looking for SotS on mobile, I think the closest thing is Dream Quest which I'm sure you've probably tried If you want something that is similar but offers an on-the-go experience, than I think you'd enjoy Meteorfall. Thanks for taking the time to reply! Is there support for iCloud save syncing so I can switch between my phone and tablet but keep my unlocks?
I thought about adding it but got a little intimidated by trying to deal with "conflict resolution" when the two saves conflict. I've had games where I lost data due to sync implemented incorrectly. It's on my wishlist but lower priority for me than adding more content. It's not ideal, though I would say that the unlocks are pretty easy to unlock, so the grind isn't too severe.
I watched a two minute gameplay video on YouTube and picked it up instantly. One of the issues I have with the game is that the background noise is much louder than the music. I'll see what I can do about the sound - it's on my to-do list of things I need to address.
I do plan to do some content updates for this. First priority is bugs; after that, I'll be looking at adding a new character and expanding the card pool.
A New Game Every Day!®
Beyond that, I'll see what resonates with people and go in that direction. Yep, this is one of my top priorities. I think I made the mistake of building the app with an older version of Unity. I think upgrading Unity is enough to resolve this. I have a build I'm sending out to the beta testers today in order to confirm that it has iPhone X support I don't have an X to test on. I still have not picked it up but I do enjoy a well balanced card game. How big was your development team? The actual 'team' was only one me. I came up with the design and did all the development work.
I did work with two contractors though - Evgeny Viitman did the art and Craig Barnes did the sound.
Both were an absolute pleasure to work with and I was really impressed with the creative touches they came up with. This is a hobby for me, so I only worked on it part time. I'm working on it this weekend. I actually did a lot of work to support it but I think I forgot to actually enable it in the final build. Refresh and try again. Open Preview See a Problem?

Jul 16, Abra rated it really liked it. This was a great read for elementary level children about the underground railroad. It used actual terms used by abolitionists and slave owners. There is a glossary so the reader can understand these terms. I would highly recommend this as a light introduction for children learning about the underground railroad.
