Mama Told Me Not To Come (Justice Security #1) by T.M. Bilderback
This book is not yet featured on Listopia. May 30, Bridget rated it did not like it Shelves: I found the story very intriguing, but the writing a lot to be desired. I felt that the dialog between characters was on the "hokey" side. Just didn't seem to be natural to me. I strongly disliked the dialog of the character Louie. The black-speak was just a little too forced for me, and a little insulting. I'm not black, but I don't feel it was necessary for him to say "Dat" for that, etc. I'm not sure if it's because I read it on a Kindle or what, but it was just all of a sudden over.
If this i I found the story very intriguing, but the writing a lot to be desired.

Taking Care of Mama With Grace and Grit by Ruby Brown Britt Many older adults are spending their golden years taking care of a spouse, elderly parent, or other relative. My book tells one such storythe story of a four-year journey my siblings and I took when our very independent mother had cancer surgery at age ninety.
